We are proud to have successfully organized a Medical Outreach Program in partnership with Ghana Health Service and Global Brigades at the Yama Community-based Health Planning and Services (CHPS) Compound.
The outreach brought together residents from Yama, Zoa, Mishio, and Bulbia, providing free healthcare services including eye care, dental services, and general medical checkups. In addition, free National Health Insurance Scheme (NHIS) registration for children below 18 months was conducted, and essential medications were provided to patients after screening.
This initiative reflects the power of collaboration in expanding access to quality healthcare, especially for underserved communities. We are deeply grateful to Ghana Health Service, Global Brigades, the dedicated health professionals, volunteers, community leaders, and all stakeholders whose commitment made this impactful program possible.
At Fifty Fifty Initiative for Development (FFID), we remain committed to strengthening community health systems and ensuring that no one is left behind.
