We were honored to commemorate World Menstrual Hygiene Day in collaboration with the Ghana Health Service to promote awareness and education on menstrual hygiene management.

The event brought together students from Yama R/C JHS and Barakaat Islamic School, along with parents and community members, to learn about the importance of menstrual health, hygiene, and dignity.

A key highlight of the program was the practical demonstration by students on the proper use and safe disposal of sanitary pads, helping to promote healthy menstrual hygiene practices among their peers.

We extend our sincere appreciation to Madam Merry, the Officer-in-Charge at Yama CHPS, who facilitated the session and shared valuable knowledge on menstrual hygiene management. Her expertise and commitment contributed greatly to the success of the event.

At Fifty Fifty Initiative for Development (FFID), we remain committed to supporting initiatives that empower girls, educate communities, and promote health and wellbeing for all.
