Empowering Women Through Skills Development
At Fifty Fifty Initiative for Development (FFID), we are committed to creating sustainable livelihood opportunities for women through practical skills training.
We successfully organized a Soap Making Training for women in Kparigu Community, equipping participants with hands-on skills in the production of both bar soap and liquid soap. The training was facilitated by Mr. Iddi Amin of Mino Publicity and Art Works, who guided participants through the soap-making process and shared practical knowledge on quality production and small business opportunities.
To support participants in putting their new skills into practice, start-up kits were presented to each trainee upon completion of the program. Certificates of participation were also awarded in recognition of their commitment and successful completion of the training.
This initiative is part of FFID’s ongoing efforts to promote women’s economic empowerment by providing marketable skills that can generate income, strengthen household livelihoods, and foster self-reliance.
We extend our sincere appreciation to Mr. Iddi Amin, the community leaders, and all the women who participated with enthusiasm and dedication. Together, we are building stronger, more resilient communities through skills development and entrepreneurship.
