We are pleased to share the successful implementation of an Animal Rearing Support Program in Boamasa Community, where 10 female-headed households received two goats each to support their livelihoods and enhance household income.

The event was attended by key community stakeholders, demonstrating strong local support for the initiative. To ensure the success and sustainability of the program, an Agricultural Extension Officer from the Ministry of Food and Agriculture provided beneficiaries with practical training on livestock management, animal health, feeding, and proper care practices.

Additionally, all goats were vaccinated before distribution, helping to safeguard the animals’ health and improve their chances of thriving under the care of the beneficiaries.

At Fifty Fifty Initiative for Development (FFID), we remain committed to empowering vulnerable households, especially women, through sustainable livelihood interventions that promote economic resilience and community development.
